Pastor Preus has served here at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church since 2024. He is the youngest of twelve children born to Rev. Rolf and Dorothy Preus. Nine of his ten brothers are also pastors (or will be soon). Born in Wisconsin, Pastor Preus spent most of his childhood in Minnesota and North Dakota before moving at the age of sixteen to Berlin, Germany for four years. Pastor Preus earned his B.A. in history at the University of Wyoming and his MDiv from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN. He and his wife Taitlyn have been blessed with five children. Pastor Preus enjoys reading, studying, hunting, hiking, singing hymns, watching and playing sports, socializing with friends, and spending quality time with his wife and kids.
